So as typical, Darrell and I have trouble communicating!! As of the latest phone call, April is NOT carb/sugar restricted and can eat anything gluten free at this point. So tomorrow I shall fill up the gas tank, head to Whole Foods to get her snacks that are gluten free, and then to Duke to spend the day with April!!! She continues to do well and should be home for Christmas, unless of course the heart becomes available.
